The fan-favorite that is longtime will fill 50 percent of the Diaz-brothers-shaped gap that has been a bothersome existence in the UFC.
The elder of Stockton, nick, the Diaz brothers of California, hasn’t competed because January 2015 in MMA. It is great to have one of those siblings that are no-nonsense rejoin the planet’s leading arts business.
The opponent because of his comeback struggle of diaz is the former UFC champion. He will be hoping this one ends better than his final bout inside the Octagon.
Diaz’s last bout resulted in what you might refer to as a”lose-win scenario” for the today 34-year-old.
In his highly anticipated rematch with Conor McGregor in UFC 202, the Cesar Gracie BJJ black belt dropped by the most narrow of decisions. Disappointing, convinced, but at least he got to wash the tears off his face with a cool $13 million in his joint purse and earnings that were pay-per-view.
No wonder he wanted a little time off.
Now, with fighting back on his thoughts, the UFC boy will probably focus on an opportunity and also Pettis to re-establish himself in the sport.
Like his last two bouts against McGregor, this one will be fought at welterweight. While Pettis is 1-0 in the UFC at welterweight after an incredible win over Stephen Thompson in March, diaz is 2-3 in his last five fights in 170 pounds.
