Cheveley Park Stud managing director Chris Richardson said:”Veracious is heading into the Sun Chariot, all working well.
“She’s been fine, and Sir Michael Stoute just wanted to freshen her up and let her encounter it at her own time.
“We are very happy with her, and she worked nicely on Saturday. All being well, the aim is to let her cruise to the race today.”
Veracious’ prospects remaining outside her start looking increasing likely appearing keen to keep her year in training.
Richardson added:”I believe Mr and Mrs Thompson are still considering rushing with Veracious next calendar year.
“That is one of the reasons why she hasn’t been rushed. They have very much taken the view that she will be remaining in training a year ago.”
Conditions that are Offered are suitable, stablemate Regal Truth will be extended a third effort at Group One level in the Qipco Champion Stakes on October 19 – with finished fifth in last month Juddmonte International at York.
Richardson added:”I believe we’re probably looking towards the Champion Stakes with Regal Truth. The break was missed by him and I know they’ve been working hard in obtaining him easier.
“He does not need soft earth, thus we will need to keep a watch out for that. I believe he is a horse and he is another that will stay in training next year.”
